However, being the eldest daughter of the family, she had to give up formal eduction and take on the responsibilities of her house and caring for her siblings. At 43, Buddha Kumari Rai is the treasurer of Chetana Mahila Samuha in Jogidaha, Udayapur, and works for women\u2019s and children\u2019s rights. Throughout her life, she has been actively involved in advocating against violence on women, women\u2019s health rights, development of children and their rights, and agriculture. Buddha Kumari has also started working actively on climate change and formation of a youth club.
