Aruna Chaudhary's house falls in Triyuga Municipality wards no. 1, Jogidaha, 10 km east of the Udaipur Gaighat Bazaar. While she had wished to study from a young age, she wasn't allowed to due to various reasons. At the age of 14, she got married, after which her life was full of various ups and downs. After joining a local group in the village, she gradually began her journey to empowerment. She has been advocating in the issues of violence against women, women's health, cultural superstitions and child marriage. She has emphasised on women's enterprise while collaborating with partner organizations.
